Sometimes a photographer has to break out of his shell and start working in new and terrible ways. I started oil painting when I was in fifth grade, and something about traditional 2-D media has always fascinated me. (Many of my favorite artists are painters or drawers and not photographers.)

In December of 2010, the drawing bug hit when I got an idea to do one drawing per day from the first of the month until Christmas. The results were some of my most popular and talked-about blog entries to date.
